From the given figure, The endpoints of the four line segments are intersected at four different locations and each intersecting point of every two line segments of a quadrilateral is called a vertex of a quadrilateral. So, a quadrilateral has four vertices. Here we have E F G H are the vertices of quadrilateral. Two sides of a quadrilateral are called its opposite sides if they do not have a common end point. In the given figure, E F , H G and H E , G F are two pairs of opposite sides of quadrilateral E F G H . In a quadrilateral if two angles don't have any side in common, they are opposite angles. From this we have ∠ E and ∠ G as opposite angles and ∠ F and ∠ H as opposite angles.
