On hydrolysis with dilute ${\mathrm{H}}_2{\mathrm{SO}}_4$, it gives two compounds Y' and 'Z'. Y' on oxidation gives compound 'Z'. Identify X, Y and Z. Name the reactions and write the chemical equation of the reactions involved.

An organic compound 'A' with molecular formula ${\mathrm{C}}_2{\mathrm{H}}_4{\mathrm{O}}_2$ is widely used as preservative in pickles. This compound reacts with ethanol to form a sweet-smelling compound 'B'

A compound $\mathrm{C}$ (molecular formula, ${\mathrm{C}}_2{\mathrm{H}}_4{\mathrm{O}}_2$) reacts with $\mathrm{Na}$ metal to form a compound $\mathrm{R}$ and evolves a gas which burns with a pop sound. Compound $\mathrm{C}$ on treatment with an alcohol $\mathrm{A}$ in presence of an acid forms a sweet-smelling compound $\mathrm{S}$ (molecular formula, ${\mathrm{C}}_3{\mathrm{H}}_6{\mathrm{O}}_2$). A gas is evolved when ethanol reacts with sodium. Name the gas evolved and also write the balanced chemical equation of the reaction involved.
