3) The image that a plane mirror forms undergoes lateral inversion.
4) The image is formed at the same distance at which the object is kept from the mirror.

There are 3 images produced when two plane mirrors are placed perpendicular to each other and there are infinite images produced when they are kept parallel to each other.
