\nEvergreen forests or tropical rainforests are found on the places where there is rainfall more than cm annually. The rainy parts of the Western Ghats, the island groups of Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the northeastern states of India. Ebony, mahogany and rosewood are some hardwood trees of the evergreen forests. The trees in these forests never shed their leaves at the same time and hence remain green throughout the year.
