Heat is a form of energy that is transferred from one body to another as a result of the difference in their temperatures. It always flows from a hot body to a cold body. This energy transfer takes place in three ways namely: radiation, conduction, and convection. It is measured in joules and calories.

Evaporation is a process that occurs on the exposed surface of a liquid, through which it transforms into the gaseous state, even before reaching the boiling point. It can occur at all temperatures and hence, the process takes place slowly. The rate of evaporation also depends on the humidity, wind speed, and surface area which is exposed to the surroundings.
