The brain is the most important part of the human body. It has three main parts: the cerebrum, cerebellum and brainstem.

Cerebrum: The cerebrum is the uppermost and largest part of the brain. It is located within the bony cranium. The cerebrum composed of two hemispheres right and left hemisphere. Both hemispheres are joined by the corpus callosum. Functions of the cerebrum include initiation of movement, coordination of movement, temperature, touch, vision, hearing, emotions, and learning.

Cerebellum: The cerebellum is a major structure of the hindbrain that is located near the brainstem. The cerebellum receives information from the sensory systems, the spinal cord, and other parts of the brain and then regulates motor movements. It is also important for making postural adjustments in order to maintain balance and coordinates eye movements, thus heavily impacting our vision.

Brainstem: The brainstem is the posterior part of the brain that is made up of the midbrain, pons, and medulla oblongata. It connects the cerebrum with the spinal cord. It performs many automatic functions such as breathing, heart rate, body temperature, wake and sleep cycles, digestion, sneezing, coughing, vomiting, and swallowing.
