The time period of a pendulum does not depend on the maximum distance up to which the bob is displaced or on the mass of the bob. It depends on the length of the string used to hang the bob. The more the length of the string, the more time it will take to complete one oscillation. This means that if the length of the pendulum is fixed, its time period is constant.
