(b) Isosceles triangle: Triangle in which any two sides are equal.

(c) Scalene Triangle: Triangle in which none of the sides are equal in length.

Triangle are classified based on their angles. They are:

(a) Acute Triangle: A triangle which has all the three angles less than $90 °$

(b) Obtuse Triangle: A triangle which has one angle greater than $90 °$ but less than $180 °$

(c) Right triangle: A triangle in which one angle is a right angle.

The sum of all internal angles of a triangle is always equal to $180 °$

Characteristics of Circle

Circle is a shape made up of a curved line.

Each point of the curved line is at equal distance from the centre. The line joining the centre of the circle to the circumference of the circle is known as radius of the circle.

The line that passes through the centre of the circle and touches the two point on the circle is called the diameter of the circle ( $D$ ). $D = 2 r$ , where $r$ is the radius of the circle.

The circles are said to be congruent when two circles have equal radii.
