Root hairs are present on the roots of the plant which helps in the absorption of water and minerals from the soil. (iv) - (c) The food moves from the leaves to all other parts of a plant including roots through the phloem. The food is prepared in leaves by the process of photosynthesis and it is transported to all parts of the plant in form of glucose and this process is termed translocation.
