Chlorophyll: It is a green pigment which is present in the chloroplast of a plant cell. It absorbs the energy from the light and converts it into chemical energy.

Water: Plants absorb the water from the soil by the roots and it is transported to the leaves through xylem tissue.

Sunlight: Plants require energy to make their own food. So they get the energy from the sunrays.

Carbon dioxide: Plants receives carbon dioxide gas from the atmosphere through the tiny openings called stomata.
