They serve as the site for the protein synthesis. h)- iv Lysosomes consist of enzymes that can digest cells and various cellular waste materials. They can explode and damage the cell in case of an emergency. Thus, lysosomes is responsible in digestion of cell waste. i)- vi Chloroplast is a type of plastid that is present in plant cells and it contains the pigment chlorophyll. It helps plants in food preparation or photosynthesis. Thus, chloroplast serves as the site of photosynthesis.
