The Sangam age from 1st to 3rd Century AD represents the tenure of the Vijayanagara and the Bahamani empires.
The Vijayanagara empire was founded by Harihar and Bukka and they were the feudatories of Kakatiya rulers.
1. Vijayanagar Empire
(i) The empire was ruled by four dynasties namely Sangama, Saluva, Tuluva, and Aravidu.

(i) He is said to have constructed a bridge across the river Tungabhadra.

4. Devaraya 2nd
(i) He is known by several names like Immadi Devaraya, the Gajabetekara.
(ii) He was a scholar and composed Mahanataka, Sudhanidhi.
5. The Saluva
(i) It was the second dynasty founded by saliva Narasimha.
6. The Tuluvas
(i) This dynasty was founded by Vira Narasimha.
(ii) Krishna Deva Raya was the most famous ruler of this dynasty. He composed Amuktamalyada and Jambavati Kalyanam.
(iii) He was also called Abhinava Bhoja.
7. The Aravidu Dynasty
(i) It was the fourth Dynasty which was founded by Tirumala.
8. Bahamani Kingdom
(i) The kingdom was founded by Alauddin Hasan Bahman Shahoften called Hasan Gangu.
(ii) He made Gulbarga his capital.
