Let the height of the triangle be h and base of the triangle be b . So, the area of triangle is = 1 2 × b × h If height and base of triangle is double. So, height of triangle be 2 h and base be 2 b So, the area of triangle is = 1 2 × 2 h × 2 b = 2 h b Thus, the Marcus is correct. When we double the height and base of the triangle area of triangle will also double.
