The sperms are formed in the reproductive tract of the males through the 4-stepped stages, namely, the spermatocytes, primary spermatocytes, secondary spermatocytes and spermatids. The spermatids form spermatozoa by the process called spermiogenesis. Acrosome is the cap of sperm that is formed by the modified Golgi apparatus. Acrosome contains enzymes like hyaluronidase that help in dissolving the membrane of the egg before the sperm and egg nucleus are fused. This process of exocytosis from the sperm is called acrosome reaction.

A sticky white or yellow fluid produced by the mammary glands of the female mammals before the production of breast milk and after the birth of a newborn is called colostrum. It is very nutritious and contains a high amount of protective antibodies that help to fight infections in newborns. The antibody IgA is found in the colostrum.
