Carbon cycle is the process of circulation of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. It is circulated through different processes such as respiration, burning of fossil fuels and also by the decomposition of dead animals and plants. During respiration, carbon dioxide is exhaled out by human beings. Similarly, all these processes release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and the process is cyclic. The carbon cycle can be represented as:
