This chapter sheds light on the cell: the unit of life. We will learn about cells and cell theory in detail. Types of cells such as Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells are described in detail, along with examples and suitable diagrams.

This chapter focuses on biomolecules. How to analyze chemical composition is explained here. We will understand primary and secondary metabolites. It also describes biomacromolecules, proteins, nucleic acids, and metabolic basis.

In this chapter, we will acquire knowledge about cell cycle and cell division. We will learn about cell cycle and its phases, and M phases. We will also learn about the significance of mitosis and meiosis.
